Youcef Posted May 12, 2021 Share Posted May 12, 2021 Summary: at around 6.44 UTC the cme that was produced by a filament eruption impacted our planet this morning on 12 may 2021. Unfortunately the simulations from nasa iswa have a data black out from 4 to 8 utc (surprise surprise...) so I used the data of swpc to cover this event. The impact is a bit disappointing but visible clearly nonetheless. I will make another video at the end of the day since this is just the initial impact a geomagnetic storm might develop later on.
