Any reason why there are still predictions of a really big CME/X flare on june 20?

Those people are fearmongers, I still haven't heard anything about it.

Mind sharing where you're finding these claims?

Or maybe it had to do with how there was a 15-Hour long gap of data on April 29th with the last image of LASCO C2 being this?
Actually, is this anything to be worried about, like a CME or something? I'm really worried about it, and it doesn't help that I keep checking YT videos about that glitch.

I saw it directly on NASA's site as well. I just took this Twitter post for easy pickings.

Also, I found out glitches like this have happened for years, so it's just off-kilter YT channels spreading false info.

Back on topic, I'm curious about where the June 20th false prediction came from. Probably social media again...

Not clear what the source of the peculiar information is this post refers to.

Along the lines of what has been mentioned before: CMEs can't be predicted (yet). The only June 20 CME I can think of that may be referred to - for whatever reason - is the one that occurred on June 20, 2013, i.e., way back in the past. This is the link to NASA's official (educational) comment on that past CMEhttps://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/sunearth/news/News062013-cme.html

I think the reason for the erroneous news about this so-called "future CME" is how the date stamp on the SOHO CME image has been interpreted, picking up on the "21" in 2013/06/21. That CME occurred on June 20, 2013 (2013/06/20) at 11:12 PM EDT, and the time stamp shown is in UTC, i.e., 2013/06/21 at 03:12 AM. Shows again how important fact checking and taking the time to read things properly is :).

From what I remember, There were people back late last year who thought there was something known as the "Great Solar Flash" (basically, some new-age bull that somehow also got roped into the whole QAnon thing) that was supposed to happen on December 21. At least one person claimed it wasn't going to happen then, but rather on the June following.

I was a researcher on Great Solar Flash "to see if I got the same information that I found, but only people who are copiranocas, or people who say that some are going to come but you don't know when, or a way of life, I don't know but what What I found were that, it may also say about the Great Solar Flash "by 2012 that in June or July was the cme carritong that did not hit the ground? because I may also take that as a reference

I remember that in December 2020, there was a discussion about a twitter post that said that there was a carriptong level cme in June or July 2021, it seems strange to me how I take this young solar cycle

and I was seeing that the 12 percent probability of carriptong is for 2023 or 2024 I honestly consider that this young solar cycle right now cannot produce a large solar flare, at the beginning of its own solar cycle, it also sounds a bit illogical that this at the beginning From the solar cycle I know of a great solar flare, I'm sorry if I speak many, but I wanted to get into the conversation
