Drax Spacex
The SDO site has been down all day "this site can't be reached, refused to connect". I wanted to see what the SDO imagery looked like coinciding with the March 20th CME off the east limb seen in LASCO imagery - a possible glancing Earth impact in a few days. Combined with the G2 yesterday from solar winds emanating from that large parallelogram-shaped coronal hole stretching from the Sun's center to the south, some interesting events have occurred in the past few days. It'd be nice if we could actually see it! Can someone submit a ticket to NASA to report the problem and ask them to kick/reboot the SDO website server? Jesterface23
There is a lot of imagery and data available here, https://iswa.ccmc.gsfc.nasa.gov/IswaSystemWebApp/index.jsp?clear=1 SDO imagery can be found on pages 4-6 under the Solar tab. Then I'm pretty sure they would know the SDO site down far before anyone else knows. Being under maintenance or similar is a possibility as well.
Drax Spacex
Ah great - thanks for that link. A good alternative site to access the SDO imagery. Appreciate it!
