MinYoongi
Hey Friends 🥰  Looking at Stereo - A, we see a fairly big Sunspot slowly rotating into earth view. I think it looks decent! Is there a way to tell if it's gonna be a sunspot or is just faculae? Any Indicators? 😊 Also, what are your Expectations from it?
Vancanneyt Sander
From looking at Stereo, you can’t tell if it’s a bright plage or a decent sunspot group. So it’s impossible to say the odds as we have insufficient data. Once it rotates Into view on the visible solar disk from Earth point of view we’ll get to see what it’s made off. The loops visible from our point of view aren’t impressive, So currently I don’t expect anything untill I see it on the limb 😉
