Bthehutt92
Spaceweather.com has an article describing a magnetic "tail" following the sunspot that could explode. Is that a filament? What is the significance of this? https://spaceweathergallery.com/full_image.php?image_name=Efrain-Morales-Rivera-SUN-2020-06-05-1534ut_Ha_EMr_1591408930.jpg
Vancanneyt Sander
Filaments have a possibility to be hurled into space and generate a coronal mass ejection. This however can't be predicated.

Marcel de Bont
It is indeed a filament elevated between two areas of opposite polarities. Guess the term magnetic tail sounds more exciting to them! Sunspot region 2765 remains a fairly simple sunspot region so in that way it isn't very interesting but looking at the bigger picture it could signal that we have passed solar minimum. Be sure to read our news item from a little while ago if you haven't done so already.
Bthehutt92
The filament apparently erupted earlier today. They're still seeing if a cme is headed our way I cant see much on lasco yet
KimSeokjin
It did not really erupt, it rather collapsed back onto the Corona and was reabsorbed
